Speakers and topics
Magnus Andersson
Lead Supervisor, European Central Bank
Magnus holds a PhD in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics. He has been at the ECB since 2002 and worked at different departments with tasks related to both monetary policy and financial stability issues. Magnus is currently working in SSM, supervising one Spanish bank.
Simon Schulz
Senior Supervisor, European Central Bank
Simon holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He joined the ECB in 2014 at the start of the SSM and has supervised various banks across the euro area since. Prior to joining the ECB Simon was Policy Adviser at the German Financial Supervisory Authority.
Veronica Palmgren
Head of ESG Analysis, Group Sustainability, Nordea Bank Abp
Veronica Palmgren is working at Nordea Bank Abp with sustainability and climate change related aspects and is Head of ESG Analysis, a unit within Nordea Group Sustainability analysing environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects as part of financing processes. She has an M.Sc. in Business Administration and Leadership (Hanken School of Economics), M.Sc. in Forest Resource Economics (Helsinki University) and is pursuing an MSt. in Sustainability Leadership (University of Cambridge).
