The Vaasa region
Vaasa is located on the west-coast of Finland. Vaasa has a population of approx. 67 000 and is the regional capital of Ostrobothnia. Vaasa is a bilingual city and as much as 24,8% of the population speak Swedish as their first language. The Swedish language have a very strong position in the city and the region in general.
Hanken in Vaasa:
Hanken in Vaasa is located just outside the city centre. Moving to and from Hanken in Vaasa is easy thanks to the city's relatively short distances. Currently, about 40 staff members works here. Although Hanken in Vaasa is smaller than Hanken in Helsinki, this is not reflected in career opportunities or daily work and staff working in Vaasa co-operate closely with their colleagues in Helsinki.
