Food Security and Development Project Nepal

The project Food Security and Development in Nepal has the aim to create an understanding for how food security can be improved in regions affected by extreme weather conditions such as floods as a result of climate change.

Date: 2009 – 2011

Aim of the project: To create an understanding for how food security can be improved in regions affected by extreme weather conditions such as floods as a result of climate change. The project investigated the following two research questions: (1) How does co-ordination of development efforts contribute to food security? (2) What is the relation between sexual and reproductive health, status of HIV pandemic and food security?
