Welcome to an online seminar with Fulbright Professor Leigh Anne Liu

Hanken School of Economics will host an online seminar with Professor Leigh Anne Liu on Wednesday 16 June 2021 at 15.00-16.00 (Helsinki time).

Leigh Anne Liu works as a Professor of International Business at Georgia State University. She studies how culture and cognition influence intercultural interactions, including negotiation, conflict management, and collaborations at individual, organization, and national levels.

Professor Liu’s Fulbright project is to study the dynamic transformation of workplace incivility and conflicts in multicultural contexts. Together with Hanken Professor Denise Salin, they hope to discover dynamic ways to transform and reduce workplace incivility and conflicts at individual and organizational levels in culturally diverse contexts.

The topic of her seminar will be Transforming the vicious spiral of mistreatments and conflicts.

The seminar will be held in English. The seminar is free of charge and is open for Hanken alumni, students, staff and corporate partners to register by 14 June.
