Pekka Saarikorpi
I am a doctoral candidate at Hanken School of Economics (marketing) with a background in performing arts, arts management and social sciences. My research focus is on experience research - customer experiences and art audiences - more specifically on social touchpoints, social- and symbolicscapes, participatory culture and shared experiences in the arts.
In my PhD, I study group-level experiences in two different art contexts: festivalscapes (temporal) and exhibitionscapes (spatial). Conceptually, the research bridges customer/service/consumer experience research with Aesthetics and research on art experience.
