Frida Nyqvist

My research focus is directed towards sensemaking during change and crisis, with a particular focus on the impact of Covid-19 on the restaurant industry in Finland. More specifically, my research explores the narrative and temporal aspects of sensemaking by looking into both managerial and employee sensemaking. So far, my research has been qualitative including interviews and multimodal analysis. 

My PhD journey at Hanken began in Autumn 2021. To this date I have published in Journal of Organizational Change Management (2022). 

As part of my PhD studies, I have broadened my horizons through an extended research visit at the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.
