Finnish Innovation Index - the most innovative companies according to Finnish consumers
Join us to listen to this year’s most innovative companies 9 June 2022 at 14.00-15.30. The event will be broadcasted live from Hanken in Helsinki and participation will occur online.
The Finnish Innovation Index (FII) method is developed by Hanken School of Economics, and it enables a ranking of the most innovative companies as perceived by Finnish consumers, which was done for the first time in 2021.
The event features a panel discussion with some of the most innovative companies according to Finnish consumers. It will showcase key success factors, strategies and visions for promoting innovation in Finnish business.

Speakers and topics
Kristina Heinonen
Kristina Heinonen is Professor of Service and Relationship Marketing and the director of the Centre for Relationship Marketing and Service Management (CERS) at Hanken School of Economics. Dr. Heinonen is a Fulbright alumni from the University of Massachusetts, USA. Kristina Heinonen has developed the Finnish Innovation Index at Hanken’s research centre CERS. The FII measures the innovativeness capacity of companies as perceived by Finnish consumers.
Tor W. Andreassen
Tor W. Andreassen is Professor of Innovation and the Director of the research center Digital Innovations for sustainable Growth (DIG) at the Department of Strategy and Management at NHH Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He is the founder of the Norwegian Customer Satisfaction Barometer (BI) and the Norwegian Innovation Index (NII) that is now adopted in several countries.
Lerzan Aksoy
Lerzan Aksoy is Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives, Professor of Marketing and Managing Director of the Responsible Business Coalition at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, USA.
Timothy Keiningham
Timothy Keiningham is the J. Donald Kennedy Endowed Chair in E-Commerce at St. John’s University, USA.
