Pia Paulina Junni

Paulina Junni is an Associate Professor of Management & Organization at Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki, Finland. Previous appointments include BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo, Norway, and Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, where she held positions of Assistant/Associate Professor.

Paulina received her PhD in 2012. Her doctoral research concerned knowledge transfer in corporate acquisitions conducted by Finnish acquirers. Since then, Paulina has actively published on the topic of mergers and acquisitions, particularly concerning the post-acquisition integration process. Her research interests relate to the strategic and sociocultural aspects of mergers and acquisitions, knowledge transfer, absorptive capacity, and organizational ambidexterity.

Her research has been published in top-tier academic outlets such as Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Perspectives, Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, British Journal of Management, and others.
