I am a Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Marketing at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. My main research interests include value creation and destruction, service marketing and management, financial services, and qualitative research methods. I have received Emerald Literati Awards for my publications on these topics in journals such as Journal of Service Management, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Qualitative Market Research: An International Journal and International Journal of Bank Marketing. I also regularly serve as a reviewer for several marketing and service research journals.
In addition, I have extensive experience of teaching and supervising students on Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Courses I have taught or currently teach cover a variety of marketing topics such as basic principles of marketing, service marketing and management, advertising, branding, and digital marketing. I am also involved in teaching marketing at Hanken’s Open University and I developed Hanken’s first MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) called Principles of Service Management (available on FutureLearn.com).
