His research focuses on the applications of climate science on humanitarian logistics. He completed his undergraduate study at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany and his graduate study at Columbia University in New York, United States.
His background is environmental studies and climate science, and he seeks to connect the two fields with supply chain management. He is particularly interested in how the impacts of natural disasters can be mitigated by using climate information in humanitarian operations, and how to bridge the gaps between academia and the practitioners in this field.
During his study at Hanken, he acts as a teaching assistant in multiple bachelor and master level courses including Supply Chain Risks and Resilience and Operation Management. He also actively participates in research and educational projects such as Danish Red Cross Supply Chain Review in 2021 and Certification Program with UNHCR.
