My research focuses on the transformative alternatives that emerge from the interaction of people, places, and nonhumans in different forms of grassroots organizations building sustainability from below, in particular in the sectors of food and textile fibers. I also do critical research on the politics of CSR, particularly in relations to different forms of extractivism and the forestry sector in South America.
