Matt’s an Indian-Canadian who grew up living in 7 countries and ended up in Finland in 2019 as an exchange student at Hanken School of Economics. After having an amazing time, he returned for a master’s in finance. During his studies, he quickly entered the Finnish startup ecosystem, first working in sales at an early-stage startup and now working in various roles at Slush, one of the world's leading startup events based in Helsinki. Outside of work and school, Matt has his own podcast about Finland as a side project. You can also catch Matt in the sauna and ice swimming in the winter.
