B.Sc and M.Sc programme in Swedish
The Department of Commercial Law offers Bachelor's (180 ECTS) and Master's studies (120 ECTS) in Swedish in both Helsinki and Vaasa. Read more about the programme on our Swedish pages.
M.Sc programmes in English
There are two specializations offered by Commercial Law in English in Helsinki:
- Intellectual Property Law (IPL)
- Masters Program in Corporate Governance and Commercial Law
Bachelor studies (only offered in Swedish)
The Bachelor’s studies in commercial law provide you with:
Basic knowledge in various areas of business law: labor law, contract law, company law, financing law, general commercial law, intellectual property law, tax law, corporate governance. By studying commercial law, you also gain important knowledge in governance and practical management of companies
Master's studies
Master’s studies in commercial law provide you with:
- In-depth knowledge of the commercial risks and opportunities that apply to the company’s decision-making and owners as well as staff.
- In-depth knowledge of how the law can affect employment, purchases, production, corporate arrangements, profit distribution, group structure, and more.
