Christian Johansson

As a lecturer in statistics my main responsibilities are teaching basic and intermediate courses in mathematics and statistics. This includes courses such as Introduction to mathematics for economists (Ekonomisk matematik), Statistical analysis (Statistisk analys) and Econometrics (Ekonometri). In recent years I have also developed and taught a course in data mining and machine learning (Introduction to data mining). I have a long work history at Hanken with over 25 years of teaching and research experience. During this time, I have also worked together with various companies helping them with credit scoring and predictive modelling. I actively participate in pedagogical training and have received several awards for teaching excellence.

In addition to an interest in statistical methods and data analytics, I am also fascinated by topics such as teaching statistics to non-statisticians, pedagogical challenges when teaching quantitative courses, planning and creation of online material and online courses.
