Department of Management and Organisation
We conduct internationally recognized research and teaching in three subjects: 1) Management and Organisation, 2) Entrepreneurship, Management and Organisation and 3) Information Systems Science (minor).
In Helsinki, we offer teaching in all three subjects. In Vaasa, we offer teaching in Management and Organisation and Information Systems Science.
Subjects and studies

Important areas in the subject of Entrepreneurship, Management and Organisation are corporate entrepreneurship, strategic change, business development, internationalization, leadership, innovation management, management of family businesses and business consulting. The subject Information Systems Science can be studied as a minor at Hanken. Studies in Information Systems Science offers skills for business oriented technical competence and planning, procurement, and implementation of IT systems as well as understanding of how these are used both operatively and strategically within companies.
