QTEM studies at Hanken
QTEM Modules and quantitative courses
QTEM requires that at least 50% of the credits of the Master's program overall should consist of quantitative courses (including courses at Hanken and your QTEM exchange). The courses at Hanken in Accounting, Economics and Finance are all assigned to a QTEM module and have a quantitative rating. Thus, QTEM students with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance, that follow the normal study plan of their subject will also meet the quantitative course requirement and module requirement.
QTEM courses are assigned to one or many QTEM modules. A module is a recognition of a topic or functional specialisation. QTEM students fulfil a QTEM module when having completed 20 credits (ECTS) within a certain module.
QTEM Modules
- Applied Economics and Public Policy
-
Innovation and Strategy
-
Finance and Risk Management

In addition to the QTEM requirements, students need to fulfil Hanken's master degree requirements and receive a master's diploma in order to earn the QTEM Certificate.

The task of every team is to come up with a creative solution and recommendations for the company by analysing exclusive data provided by the company. The three top teams are invited to the finals arranged at the annual QTEM event.
