Last mile logistics innovation (LOGIN)
Primary objective: Develop knowledge on how public authorities, in particular municipalities, may support private sector development and testing of sustainable last mile logistics solutions, contributing to capacity-building and new practices for ensuring upscaling sustainable logistics solutions in Norwegian cities.
Secondary objectives:
1. Explore how authorities may decide on which innovative ideas and pilots to support and implement to achieve lasting real-life changes.
2. Develop new knowledge on how municipalities and regions may use policy instruments to facilitate lasting real-life changes and provide strategies, plans and processes enabling appropriate policy instruments.
3. Contribute with new insights on how viable business models for sustainable last-mile logistics can be developed, allowing for moving from pilots to scale-ups.
4. Contribute to capacity building by transferring the research findings into applicable practice for Norwegian municipalities and regions.
