CCR and Department of Management and Organisation invites you all to the research seminar of Professor Jeremy Moon.

Jeremy will present chapters 2 and 7 from his forthcoming book entitled ‘Visible Hands: National Government and International Corporate Social Responsibility’ (see below). The two chapters are titled, ‘National Government and International Corporate Social Responsibility’ and ‘Conclusion: Visible Hands for Responsible International Business’

Jeremy Moon is the Velux Professor of Corporate Sustainability at Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has previously held a professorship at Nottingham University Business School. He brings a political science background to the study of corporations. He first encountered CSR in the UK in the early 1980s in the midst of a research project on public policy responses to mass unemployment and has subsequently been interested in understanding the ways in which business contributes to the way we are governed. This interest includes conceptual, evaluative, organizational and comparative questions. 

He has published in the fields of corporate responsibility and organization theory in leading academic journals such as Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies.
