Hanken School of Economics holds the three most prestigious international accreditations for business schools: EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. Only one percent of all business schools worldwide have achieved this.

Hanken is ranked in Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) ranking and in U-Multirank.

AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

Hanken School of Economics is an accredited member of AACSB International since 2015.

AMBA – The Association of MBAs

Hanken Executive MBA Opens in new window has been accredited by AMBA Opens in new window since 2008.

Today the AMBA accreditation Opens in new window constitutes the global standard for MBA programmes. The accreditation process itself supports the MBA programmes in their development and in their continued quality assurance.

U-Multirank

Hanken continues to succeed in the global U-Multirank university ranking on research and research linkages. Hanken ranks particularly high on citation rate and top cited publications, as well as on international joint publications.

U-Multirank compares universities within a number of variables, such as research, teaching and learning, and international orientation. In addition to the research variables Hanken performs very well also in variables such as international student mobility, post doc positions, share of international faculty, and share of private funding.

U-Multirank is developed and implemented by an independent consortium that consists of European higher education institutions and is supported by the European Commission. The ranking features more than 1,700 universities from some 100 countries.
